Finally Done!!

Ok, so I am finally posting for anyone who is still looking at the blog. Since B's birthday we've enjoyed doing a whole lot of things but these are just a few things. We got to go out to California over Colby's spring break to visit my sister who is working at Disneyland.

This is the two kids at Disneyland, not the greatest pic but it will do. We weren't able to get one of them together very easily. Too much going on.

This is the two kids with their aunt. We loved being able to go out and see her and only wish we could have had even more time to visit with her. Although now her time is almost up there and she will be home soon, woohoo!!

My mom and dad joined us the last day and a half of our trip and we had a bunch of fun. I always seem to change things and plans and my family, all of them, always put up with it so we had a good time anyways.

Who can make a trip out to California without a beach trip? J and B hated the waves and water but loved getting dirty and gross in the sand. J was very hesitant about having even his feet buried at first and then he realized it was warmer under the sand. We chose the coldest day of our trip for the beach, of course.

Besides Disneyland, we've been enjoying some things around our new area. These pics are from goosenecks and valley of the gods area. We've also been doing a lot of picnics.

Oh, this pic snuck in randomly. We play a lot outside and I loved that J used to give B rides on this bike. B doesn't really put up with it anymore but it was adorable while it lasted. And don't you just think J is a stud in his glasses? Because he does.

B is wearing dad's shirt so that she didn't get her only change of clothes wet in this little stream.

Future model anyone? Ok, I love this guy he's seriously such a poser and a stud muffin.

Did I also mention that he could be the next Huck Finn?

This is J and B in their easter clothes. J was all about posing and being in front of the camera but well B didn't think that was a wise use of her time with all sorts of candy around. So this is one of the only shots of B.

We have also been doing a lot of water playing, whether it is a little pool or a slip-n-slide. This is usually with a couple of the neighbor kids and both J and B love it. Although B is more hesitant about the water she warms up a little and loves to splash. Of course J loves to run and jump in and B is not a big fan of the splashing from him. He's becoming such a boy.

As you can see, B rarely sits down in the pool.

Really a very brief version of the past few months and I really will try harder to keep up with posting. We are loving having Colby home for the summer, who wouldn't love a job that lets you have so much time with your family? It has been wonderful. We moved from a trailer here at the school housing down to an apartment so that has been taking up a lot of time. B has started taking on some of J's traits and tries to tackle our neighbor kids when she's hugging them so that is a pain but overall the kids are healthy and happy. They both seem to want to help most of them time which is so cute and so frustrating all at once. I need to learn to encourage their help more often I'm sure. Anyways, long post I know, sorry.
